  • What can I expect at my appointment?

  • Is Low Laser Light Therapy Safe?

  • What Causes Hair Loss?
Hair loss is usually a combination of contributing factors –genetics, general health, medications, stress, and diet are all important things to consider when evaluating a client. Treatment for any or all of these reasons will help slow the process and sometimes can reverse it. In the initial consultation I tell clients two main things: 1) hair loss doesn’t resolve quickly. Sometimes it takes 6 months or more for them to see results. I may see new growth with the capilloscope before they see them in the mirror so check-ups are VERY important. If there is a family history of androgenic hair loss (male or female pattern) treatment will be long term -there will always be maintenance needed. It’s like treating highblood pressure or diabetes-you cannot just stop treatment. Their success rate will depend partly on how aggressive their hair loss is. 2) They need to be compliant and follow the treatment program applying the topical daily, taking the supplement, and having laser treatments on a regular basis.
  • How long before I will start seeing results from my Program?
Results may not be visible in your mirror for 3 to 6 months. The first things people notice is that there is less fall out and that their hair looks and feels healthier. It is also easier to style and has more body. Any hair loss program is long term therapy. It is just like treating high blood pressure or diabetes. The best results are achieved when a client is compliant and has healthy habits such as eating the proper food and keeping generally healthy. Thyroid issues, diabetes, anemia, hormonal issues, stress, depression, auto immune disease and other health issues all affect the success of any program
